Mysteria Mystica Maxima (M∴M∴M∴) is the initiatory arm of O.T.O.

Membership in Ordo Templi Orientis (O.T.O.) is by way of initiation.  Our initiations contribute to the structure the Order, much as initiation structures other philosophical and religious orders by providing instruction and experience through providing rituals of initiation.  As the page on initiation hosted by the United States Grand Lodge (U.S.G.L.) O.T.O. states:

“In the rituals of these degrees, O.T.O. seeks to instruct the individual by allegory and symbol in the profound mysteries of nature, and thereby to assist each initiate in discovering his or her own true identity.”

 

Part of the work of local bodies in O.T.O. is to provide initiation into our Order.  As a Chartered Body, Company of Stars has the means to offer initiation through the “Man of Earth” triad of initiations.

 

To be initiated into O.T.O. and participate in the Company of Stars Encampment, you will need to fill out an application, receive the signature of two sponsors in good standing with O.T.O., turn in your paperwork, and then show up for your initiation and complete the ceremony.
